Kandhar shasti kavasam is one of the most powerful manthras in the world. Lord Muruga has given me whatever I have asked him. From then I started praying to lord Muruga. He told me lord muruga has given him whatever he asked. The last kumbhabisekam was performed in the year 1997. He prayed to lord Muruga and said he chants shasti. The "Marudha Thirtam" and the"Pambatti Sunai" are springs on the hills with holy waters for ablution and a dip in them cures a number of diseases for they contain Medicinal Properties. It is believed that this temple may be constructed in 12th century. Lord Murugan is also popularly known as Subramaniam that is a common name in South India. Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple is a Hindu temple, on the hill of Thiruttani, Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu, India, dedicated to Lord Muruga.The hill has 365 steps indicating 365 days of the year. Lord Murugas psychic weapon, Mighty Vel, is made up of conscious fire and can destroy all your bad karmas permanently and bless you with miracles in terms of Money, Health, Career, Relations, etc. A Siddha, overcome by excessive thirst and tiredness, sought shelter under the shade of a Marudha tree and prayed to the mercy of the Lord Muruga for a shower of water, which sprang at once as though by a miracle from beneath the tree! As water gushed out from the roots of the marudha tree, the Siddha leaped in joy, glorifying Muruga as the Lord of "Marudha" and "Jalam" (water) with the passage of time, "Marudhajalapathi" became "Marudhachalapathy". Worshipping Muruga grants you access to the extraordinary powers of the third eye and gives you intuitive wisdom. Being afraid of this sudden development they tied the idol in a rope and dropped it in the sea. The word "Marudhachalapathy" or "Maruthamalai Andavar" means Master of Hills, abounding in Marudha trees. Dutch pirates who looted this temple during 17th century had broken the granite statues and taken away Panchaloka idol of Arumuga Peruman to their ship.
